What are the job responsibilities?

• Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this role is responsible for interacting with customers through telephone, electronically or face to face.
• Process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.
• Input orders and change-orders received from customers and Sales Representatives, set-up sales order, payers, and essential data in SAP for initial order.
• Take phone orders in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Perform dispatch duties and serve as back-up Dispatcher as required.
• Provide marketing support for samples, catalogs, and information requests. Maintain marketing inventory.
• Work with Outside Sales Teams to coordinate customer requests and to help provide superior customer service.
• Participate in semi-annual inventory counts.
• Abide by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

• High school education or equivalent required, some college level courses are beneficial.
• Previous customer service, administrative, or sales experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the concrete, paving, or construction industries are an asset.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and reliability are ideal.
• Must have strong computer skills, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• SAP experience an asset.
• Strong aptitude for organizing personal tasks and repetitive duties in a dynamic environment.
• Must have strong communication, teamwork, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to consistently delivering the highest quality customer service.
