Robert Half Ottawa is currently working with a client who is offering a permanent employment opportunity as a Customer Service Representative. This role is within the industry and involves addressing customer inquiries, providing product support, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, delivering timely and detail oriented responses.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our products and services to help customers make informed decisions based on their requirements.
  • Manage customer orders effectively, including the processing and tracking of orders, and handling any returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
  • Troubleshoot and find resolutions to any technical issues or complaints, escalating to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Document and collect customer feedback to contribute to the enhancement of our products, services, and overall customer experience.
  • Ensure all customer queries are followed up and resolved promptly, upholding high standards of service.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Proficient in answering inbound calls, handling customer queries and resolving issues swiftly.
  • Strong experience in call center customer service, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to manage multiple lines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Proficient in data entry tasks, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Skilled in managing email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls, keeping customer satisfaction as the highest priority.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and documentation.
  • Experience in order entry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing customer orders.
  • Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars and coordinate meetings effectively.
