At our Kilkeel Facility, we manufacture aircraft interior seating for a number of worldwide customers. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a SOAPOA Admin in our Seating business located in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland. 

The successful candidate can expect to: 

  • Support a range of activities within the department by ensuring all clerical/administrative duties are completed in a timely manner and to the required standard ensuring a high level of attention to detail is maintained at all times. 
  • Coordinate SOA/POA/Inter-Company orders from Request for Quote (RFQ) through to shipping. 
  • Ensure SOA/POA/Inter-Company orders are planned through the current business capacity planning model. 
  • General administrative duties required in the SOA/POA/Inter-Company department. 
  • Ensure Request for Quotes (RFQ’s) are coordinated in conjunction with the OEM capacity planning model. 
  • Perform SAP transactions from Order entry through to Order completion for shipping. 
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to meet lead time requirements. 
  • Maintain the information in SAP to ensure that (amongst others) lead-times and delivery dates are correct. 
  • Publish daily updates, ship dates and airway bill information for all orders placed by internal and external customers. 
  • Attend progress / production meetings as required. 
  • Expedite parts to meet Customer Required Dates (CRD). 
  • Coordinate shipping requirements with internal and external customer needs. 
  • Participate in cross-disciplinary or cross site project teams. 
  • Produce and organise all documents/paperwork to support departmental activities. 
  • Prepare and submit monthly department metrics, ensuring that data is analysed, interpreted and presented in a meaningful way (e.g. Pivot tables, Pareto charts etc.). 

What you need to succeed? 

Essential Criteria: 

  • Be able to demonstrate a minimum of 1 year’s experience within a clerical/administrative position. 
  • Experience managing / maintaining manual and computerised records. 
  • Well developed IT skills and a sound working experience of Microsoft Office. 

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 year’s experience within a clerical/administrative position. 
  • Experience of using SAP 
  • A computer qualification (e.g. CLAIT, ECDL, RSA) 
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Continuous Improvement tools and techniques used within a business environment. 
  • Be able to demonstrate an eye for detail.
