Customs CoordinatorLocation: West Bromwich, BirminghamSalary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)Do you have customs brokerage experience? Are you looking for you a new and exciting role to join a growing customs team for a well-established 3PL Freight and Logistics Specialist? If yes, this opportunity could be great for you!Work Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 17:00pmKey Responsibilities:

• Create job files, accurately enter data into customs software to submit entries in a timely manner.
• Sense check data provided by customers against required source and advise on potential errors.
• Create Import declarations through using customs software such as CDS.
• Track and monitor declaration status.
• Liaise with all stakeholders. Dealing with any queries effectively and efficiently. Where necessary provide guidance and support on latest customs procedures and requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a customs coordinator or equivalent.
• Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder or Customs Broker.
• Import and/or Export experience.
• CDS knowledge is essential.
• Experience with Excise Goods and Bonded Warehousing
• Knowledge of HMRC compliance and regulation is desirable.
