Job Description

Torch Technologies is currently seeking a cyber security systems engineer to be responsible for Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for MDDC. The candidate will perform scanning and assistance with remediation for multiple systems across NIPR and SIPR networks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, test and implement state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products.
• Conduct risk assessment and provide recommendations for Application design
• Handle a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
• Perform as lead writer for System Security Plans
• Responsible for self-assessment of multiple systems in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) process
• Responsible for training to include planning for table-top exercises

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Network Security or related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
• Experience Integrating new architectural features into existing infrastructures to enhance system performance and scalability.
