We support organisations across a variety of sectors including finance, retail, telecommunications, utilities, gaming, government and insurance.What You’ll Bring:We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team.Day to Day You’ll Be:

  • Appraise, setup, process, peer review and deliver batch jobs for all TransUnion products the team are responsible for.
  • Provide training and support to enable all members of the team in job delivery.
  • Be a point of escalation for all complaints, queries, issues, and incidents working with stakeholders across the business as and when required.
  • Fulfill quality control requests, ensuring the quality of output and the service we provide remains at the highest possible level.
  • Have primary responsibility for on boarding new batch processes, coordinating handovers with the Data Science team, resolving loose ends and documenting.
  • As and when required, aid the Data Processing Consultant with the process improvement initiatives and managing software releases. This includes testing and appraisal of new solutions, and preparations to train and share knowledge with all members of the team.
  • Be a point of contact alongside the Lead for Business Continuity for all things Risk & Compliance.
  • Produce and review written process documentation/knowledge base content, ensuring it is clear, accurate, and compliant to corporate and legal standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous data analyst experience gained within a fast-paced organisation.
  • An understanding of how to work with data in line with GDPR.
  • Ability to prioritize workload accordingly based on clients’ requirements and needs.
  • Ability to follow documented processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to trouble shoot technical and process issues efficiently and effectively.
  • A passion for service excellence (improvement & change). A basic level of experience with SQL or another programming language

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Intermediate experience within Microsoft SQL Server Experience using R, Python or Spark programming languages Experience in PowerBI or similar dashboard tools
  • Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and other product development/governance best practices.
  • Experience of working with data in an FCA/ICO regulated environment
