Robert Half is looking for a Data Analyst to work for their client in Brea, CA that is in the financial industry. Ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating, designing, developing, and running database reports based on business needs. In addition, you will be expected to work with other business units to improve the quality of the data information resources and determine the best means of transforming the data into usable information.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and run database reports according to the needs of the organization.

• Import, clean, transform, and validate data to ensure it is accurate and usable.

• Work collaboratively with other business units to enhance the quality of data resources.

• Determine the most effective methods of transforming raw data into valuable insights.

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL – Transact-SQL, Microsoft SSIS, and SAP BusinessObjects to facilitate data analysis.

• Employ SSIS – SQL Server Integration Services, SSIS SSRS, Microsoft SSRS, SSRS – SQL Server Reporting Services for data integration and reporting purposes.

• Leverage the Business Objective and Crystal Reports to meet the organization’s business goals.

• Ensure data modeling is done with the aim of understanding or making conclusions from the data.

• Continuously monitor and update customer credit applications and records.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a BI Data Analyst role or similar position in the Financial Services industry.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server.

• Strong knowledge and experience in using T-SQL – Transact-SQL.

• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft SSIS and SSIS – SQL Server Integration Services is required.

• Familiarity with SSIS SSRS, Microsoft SSRS, and SSRS – SQL Server Reporting Services is necessary.
