The Data Analytics and Information Management Assistant will operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that demands flexibility, multitasking, and strong organizational skills. The role requires the ability to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and responsiveness across both office and field-based tasks. This position involves a balanced mix of responsibilities: • Supporting the development and maintenance of geospatial and information management tools, such as dashboards, maps, and data systems. • Checking FMIS and EIS Data and coordinating with internal teams to ensure data-driven support for operational planning. Assisting in the presentation of data in dashboards and reports

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the GIS & Information Management Specialist, the Data Analytics and Information Management Assistant will work on: Information Management: • Checking and validates operational data for the Facility Information Management System FMIS; reconciles in coordination with relevant stakeholders and produce reports…… • Maintains spreadsheets, and document repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Excel) for data migration for the FMIS and any other systems at ICID-HQA • Supporting the development and update of dashboards and information systems, including in designing dashboards to calculate CO₂ emissions and energy costs based on predefined metrics. • Assist in ensuring data security and adherence to data protection protocols. • Support the selection and implementation of the EIS to collect and aggregate energy and emissions data. • Support EIS with integration with FMIS • Prepare and comparison of key performance indicators across time periods to support data-driven decision-making and reporting. General: • Assist with training or technical support to field teams on data collection tools. • data analysis and visualization. Which will support monitoring and evaluation activities through • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Expected Deliverables • Updated Facility Information in FMIS: Ensure all UNRWA premises are correctly reflected in the Facility Management Information System (FMIS), including the verification and correction of geographic coordinates and related attribute data. • Manual for EIS users and technical support • Dashboard reporting on CO2 metrics and energy efficiency.

Qualifications/special skills

University degree in GIS, Information Management, Computer Science, Data Analysis or a related field. Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in data entry, data analysis, information management and/or GIS. Knowledge in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and data tools (e.g., Power BI, Kobo Toolbox, Python) is preferable. Proficiency in data management using Excel and other data tools. Familiarity with data visualization, dashboarding, mapping, and reporting tools. Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic
