JOB DUTIES: A Data Engineering Manager is responsible in leading a team of data engineers & MDM architects within our Enterprise Digital Intelligence (EDI) team. The role is accountable for identifying skill gaps and leading team members in developing these skills. Additionally, the Data Engineering Manager takes the lead designing &building data pipelines to transform & manage data as it flows from the data lake and into end-user facing applications. The role requires someone who has experience leading others & deep experience in building, automating and deploying data pipelines and workflows as well as building architecture for master data management. This position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the United States. Supervise Direct Employee: 15-1299.08: Computer Systems Engineers/Architects; 15-2051.00: Data Scientists

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Applied Computer Science or MIS or closely related technical field and five (5) years of post bachelor’s progressive experience as a Big Data Specialist, Sr. Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Experience must include five (5) years post bachelor’s experience in all of the following:

1. Application analysis, design, software development, systems implementation, and package integration including Scala, Spark, Java, Python or IL
2. Experience with Oracle EBS General Ledger, Finance Accounts Payable modules and SAP Supply Chain, Materials Management and Asset management
3. Experience in developing technical architecture, data engineering methods and MUM (Master Data Management) solutions.
4. Experience with design and development of advanced cloud computing solutions on Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Oracle and IBM)
5. Experience with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Apache Flink, etc.) and building data lakes, Lakehouse and ELT / ETL (Informatica, ODI) solutions
6. Experience with backend infrastructure for code migrations and leveraging CI/CD pipelines.

SALARY: $171,197 /year
