Our Mission is to drive monetization and sustainable revenue growth for TikTok through data science. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Responsibilities: – Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical methods – Design, analyze, and interpret insights end-to-end on a project from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and impactful business recommendations – Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of sophisticated analytical and modeling techniques – Design, execute, and interpret results of experiments (e.g., A/B testing) – Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to team leadership and influence strategic decision-making

Qualifications

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications – Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytic etc) – Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R – Experience with data analysis in a scripting language (R, Python, Matlab) – Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Preferred Qualifications – Internship experience in data science – Research experience in data science – Experience working with cross functional teams – Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver. – Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.
