Decision Scientist Advisor

Description

Leads data-driven decision support, provides technical expertise to stakeholders, and offers actionable insights and potential outcomes that inform business decisions in complex situations. This role requires an exceptional Data Scientist with a strong combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to drive data-driven decision-making and contribute to the organization’s success.

Essential Functions

• Strategically plans and aligns data science, business intelligence, and data engineering teams to create tools that automate processes and provide valuable information for decision-makers.
• Directs data analysis and interpretation in the context of overarching business circumstances, goals, and objectives.
• Manages projects that identify opportunities to implement new capabilities for automated solutions and continuous process improvements.
• Works effectively in ambiguous circumstances and makes decisions based on imperfect data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum education

Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as operations research, computer science, or statistics require.

Minimum experience

Seven (7) years of experience in advanced data analytics, data science, data modeling, and developing data-driven solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Deep understanding of statistics, machine learning techniques, simulation, optimization, programming languages, and current data visualization techniques.

Possess advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
