Job Description:

Job Summary

This position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pickups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations along a specified route. This position performs physical, fast-paced environment involving continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Responsibilities:

Delivers and picks up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.

Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.

Qualifications:

• Able to deliver and pick-up packages by means of walking (on-foot) and to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to occasionally lift 70-lbs unassisted
• Able to operate an electronic scanning equipment
• Must be able to meet with UPS Drivers in assigned meet points everyday
• Delivery Area: Delta/ New Westminster/Burnaby Areas
• Shifts: Monday to Friday starting at 11AM* (shift times may vary) and 4 – 5 hours per shift (shift hours will vary)
• Employment: Part Time Seasonal Position (with various opportunities for permanent employment).
