HealthPartners is currently hiring Dental Hygienists. We have full-and part-time positions available. Pay is competitive and range from $41.67- $57.15/hour, dependent upon qualifications and other relevant factors. Some positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus. We’re also proud to offer a very competitive benefits package for any employee working 15 or more hours per week that includes, comprehensive medical and dental benefits; generous vacation time and sick leave; 401k; and CEU reimbursement. Key details

Position requirements:

  • You must be a licensed dental hygienist in the state of Minnesota.
  • You must be able to perform all duties within the scope of practice established by regulations and rules of the state of Minnesota and the Minnesota Board of Dentistry that the dentist(s) delegates. For newly established functions, you must complete applicable credentialing or certification requirements in a reasonable period of time after appropriate training is available.
  • You have a proven ability to perform as a part of a team composed of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and clerical staff.

Physical requirements 

  • You must have good visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
  • You need the ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms.
  • You must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time (60 minutes or longer).
  • Proficiency in English is required. Proficiencies in other languages may be required.

Accountabilities

  1. Able to perform all duties in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
  2. Responsible for knowledge and performance of clinical emergency procedures.
  3. Responsible for implementing policies, procedures and treatment guidelines.
  4. Responsible for schedule management and schedule flow of one’s patient schedules to assure efficient clinic schedules.
  5. Responsible for the maintenance of patient-care-related equipment, supplies and processes.
  6. Uses appropriate systems, automated or manual, to record and maintain accurate patient records and other information.
  7. Responsible for maintenance of a recall process. Able to work in conjunction with clerical staff to maintain a recall system.
  8. Perform other related duties as directed by the Dental Lead or Clinic Management Team.
