A Diesel Mechanic at SET Environmental is responsible for:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, tractor-trailers, and hydro-blasting equipment
• Performing annual inspections in compliance with Company, State and Federal regulations
• Scheduling, tracking, and updating maintenance records per DOT and Company requirements
• Managing shop safety and cleanliness
• Requesting replacement parts, supplies and tools
• Performing building maintenance as needed
• Performing miscellaneous tasks as needed/required

position REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• 3 years of related diesel maintenance work
• Class B CDL or ability to obtain; Class A CDL preferred
• Good driving record
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work with basic hand tools
• Excellent organizational skills
• Welding and electrical abilities
• Candidate must be a self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment
• Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite, e-mail, etc.)
