St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center is looking for a positive, compassionate, energetic and organized Assistant to our Dietetic Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Dietetic Coordinator in the administration of the Dietetic Services department to include development/revision of department policies and procedures for food preparation, service, storage, sanitation, and safety; and in assuring the compliance with said policies and procedures
Directly supervise and evaluate performance of Food Service Managers and Food Service Supervisors
Develop weekly staffing schedule for the North and South Campus and coordinate with PRN employees to fill open shifts to reach minimum staffing levels
Complete time reconciliation for the Food Service Managers, Food Service Supervisors, Stores/Warehouse Associates/Assistants, Food Service Workers, and Food Service Assistants
Publish weekly statewide Master Menu for North and South Campus
Follow-up with Managers/Supervisors to ensure monthly in-in-services are scheduled and conducted
Follow-up with employees to ensure completion of scheduled quality assurance metrics
Lead or assist managers/supervisors with the hiring process and provide training as needed
Setting and maintaining budget for food and labor costs
Function as designee in the absence of the Dietetic Coordinator to resolve immediate issues and answer urgent questions related to the operation of the department
Eligibility:
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital setting
At least 4 years of supervisory/leadership experience
ServSafe Certification or ability to receive ServSafe Certification within three months of hire
