Shriners Children’s Chicago offers specialized care for a wide range of pediatric orthopedic, bone and joint conditions, including rare diseases and syndromes. Other specialties include spine and scoliosis care, plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate care, comprehensive rehabilitation and spinal cord injuries.
Schedule: Part-Time 0.5 FTE

Shriners Children’s Chicago has an opportunity for a Dietetic Technician. This position is responsible for screening of all patients admitted to the inpatient units, the processing of patient menus consistent with current nutritional principles which includes menu distribution, processing, and modified menus according to patterns established by the dietitian. Set-up trays for patient food service following individual menus. Responsible for cleanliness of work area and for safe and sanitary handling of food, equipment, and supplies.
The pay range for this position is $19.92/hour – $24.89/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

High School / GED required.
Minimum one year related experience, preferably in a hospital or health care setting required.
Food Service Sanitation Certificate required.
