General Role Description: 

The Dietitian is responsible for assessing, counseling, monitoring, and ongoing coordination of patients referred for nutrition intervention. This position works closely with the Health Service Coordinators, Certified Diabetes Educators, and clinic physician and nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:

• RD from approved dietetic program
• RD, LD in Texas
• 2+ years clinical experience, experience in education or Master’s degree from an approved dietetic program
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated excellent counseling skills & computer skills
• Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Masters degree
• CDE and CPR certified
• KSC experience or ambulatory care experience
• Experienced educator
• Spanish speaking

 

The salary range for this role is $49,300 to $96,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
