Job Description

As a crucial member of the McGrath Institute for Church Life communications team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and implement innovative digital strategies that advance the priorities and objectives of the Institute. The position will plan and execute digital marketing campaigns including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising. The position will maintain the Institute’s social media presence across all digital channels, manage targeted email campaigns, and produce reports on the outcome of marketing efforts. The position will also monitor ongoing changes in digital marketing and innovations in social media, and will manage the Institute’s website content and functioning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 to 4 years of related work experience
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to work with CRM tools, databases
  • Experience in digital marketing, social media, and content
  • Experience with analytics and creative problem-solving
  • Superior organization and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize while juggling multiple deadlines
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships
  • Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (B.A. or B.S.)
  • Fast-paced media agency or similar startup experience
  • Advanced knowledge optimizing the use and design of CRMs
  • Motivated to learn and grow in mission-driven environment
  • Ability to collaborate in person as needed
  • Knowledge of Higher Education industry
  • Working knowledge of Spanish language
