Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current, valid Driver’s License Required
• Good communication both oral/written and organizational skills
• 6 months experience with individuals with IDD
• Community Participation Certificate a plus

We are currently seeking a Program Aide to join our intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division working at the Adult Training Facility in Hummelstown, PA.

Earn up to $19/hour with the election of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

The duties of a Program Aide involve direct care and program assistance in assigned area. Direction is provided by the Program Instructor. Work is supervised by the Program Director.

• Assist the participants with skills of daily living such as toileting, eating and other personal hygiene.
• Direction is provided by the program instructor in designated areas.
• Program Aide acts as the lead in the absence of the program instructor.
• Document participants daily attendance. Implements goal plans and provides guidance in social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Assist participants on skill building out in the community/Drive company vehicles.
• Keep storage areas and work areas clean and properly arranged.
• Assist with documentation responsibilities as requested.
• Perform special assignments as directed and related work as required.
