We are seeking Direct Support Professional to join our team in our Crafton, PA location.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

• Conduct and implement functional assessments to support individualized care and development plans.

• Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and prepare accurate reports documenting residents’ program progress.

• Plan, organize, and supervise social, recreational, work, and educational activities for residents within the assigned living area.

• Effectively manage and respond to day-to-day challenges, maintaining accurate observation records and timely reports.

• Exhibit an understanding and supportive attitude toward residents, promoting respect and dignity in all interactions.

• Maintain complete and accurate records in accordance with established standards and procedures.

• Safely lift, transfer, and position residents using prescribed techniques to ensure comfort and prevent injury.

• Adhere to established procedures for the care and use of equipment, as well as proper food preparation and handling.

• Communicate effectively with staff and residents, including the use of sign language when necessary, to ensure understanding and collaboration.

• Apply proper practices and techniques in the supervision and support of residents to encourage independence and engagement.

• Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and reliability in fulfilling job responsibilities while following instructions and organizational guidelines.

Earn $19.00/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.
