Director Consulting Services/Consulting Manager – Manufacturing & Transportation

Position Description:

CGI is growing its consulting business within the Manufacturing, Construction, and Transportation industries, and we are looking for an experienced leader to drive the next phase of growth. This role is well suited for a commercially oriented consulting leader who enjoys building strong teams, developing client relationships, and delivering high-quality consulting services.

As Director Consulting Services (DCS), you will be responsible for leading and developing a consulting team in Stockholm, with a strong focus on client delivery, business development, and profitable growth. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure CGI remains a trusted partner across complex, industry-specific engagements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As Director Consulting Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Business Development & Sales: Drive growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and contributing to sales activities within manufacturing, construction, and transportation.
• Client Delivery Leadership: Ensure high-quality delivery across consulting engagements and act as a senior point of contact for key clients.
• Revenue & Profitability Responsibility: Own revenue, margin, and growth targets for your consulting area.
• People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a consulting team of initially 10–15 consultants, creating a performance-driven and collaborative culture.
• Recruitment & Team Expansion: Attract and recruit new consultants to support business growth and evolving client needs.
• Operational Management: Balance delivery, sales, and people management to ensure sustainable and scalable operations.
• Management Team Participation: Actively contribute to the management team, supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

We are looking for a leader who combines strong consulting experience with a commercial mindset and a genuine interest in developing people and client partnerships.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Proven experience in a consulting leadership role, preferably within manufacturing, construction, transportation, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of client delivery models, consulting sales, and business development.
• Experience managing teams and building capabilities aligned with client and market needs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, client-driven environment.
• A proactive, relationship-oriented approach and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Additional requirements:

• Background as a consultant is highly meritorious.
• Relevant university degree.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
