Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to join our team as the Director of Data Analytics & Machine Learning. In this role, you will spearhead the research, development, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions – integrating machine learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) into daily risk management workflows to drive efficiency, automation and business value.What will you do?

• Lead Full-Stack AI Solution Development: Oversee and contribute to the end-to-end development of AI-driven solutions, including data ingestion pipelines, scalable backend architectures, and intuitive front-end interfaces for seamless delivery.
• Apply expertise in machine learning algorithms (e.g., supervised learning such as decision trees, gradient boosting, deep neural networks, unsupervised learning such as clustering, dimensionality reduction), natural language processing (e.g., TF-IDF, transformer models, embedding models), and GenAI (e.g., modular RAG, embedding model fine-tuning) for risk management applications
• Manage cross-functional project teams, including scoping, planning, stakeholder engagement and execution
• Collaborate closely with technology teams to ensure timely and scalable delivery of data and AI solutions
• Partner with business and innovation stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives and secure buy-in.

What do you need to succeed?

• Proven hands-on experience with modern ML/DL frameworks and tools such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience with GenAI technologies, including foundation LLM, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases (e.g., Weaviate, PGVector).
• Demonstrated ability to build and deliver production grade applications, including Apache Spark, Airflow, and FastAPI.
• Familiarity with modern MLOps tools and practices, such as Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Track record of successfully leading projects from prototype to production
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in regulated environment is an asset

Nice-to-have

• Experience with GenAI deployment in Enterprise use cases (e.g., Model Context Protocol (MCP), prompt engineering, vector databases)
• Knowledge of risk management
