Job Description
SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this position is the generation of revenue
through ticket sales. This position is also responsible for increasing attendance and creating a
positive and exciting game day atmosphere with a focus on student marketing and attendance.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Office environment (sitting, standing, walking and typing)
- Physical activity on both game day and for game day preparation (may include lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Requires work on weekends and nights during football and basketball season
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A thorough knowledge of sales, marketing and promotions is required for this position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to perform accurate detail-oriented work, the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population and strong interpersonal skills are required
- Adherence to all applicable NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations is required
- A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree preferred
- Individual must have 2-4 years of experience in a related field, college athletics preferred
WORK HOURS: Monday though Friday, 8:30 am to 5pm, 38.75 hrs per week. Some evenings and weekends.
SALARY STRUCTURE:
Pay Grade 6 (Hiring Range $46,114.00 to $61,110.00 annually)
