Director of Digital Transformation in Chicago, Illinois

The Sr. Director of Digital Transformation will support the Chief Medical Officer and leaders across the health system in organizing, enabling and executing on the digital consumer strategy and digital transformation plan. The Sr. Director will engage with senior leadership, peers in aligned departments (e.g. IS, Marketing, PMO, Operations), and partners/vendors to identify, prioritize, execute and manage change in support of the RUSH digital strategy and transformation plan. The Sr. Director will enable and support matrixed, cross-functional teams with clearly defined roles and accountabilities that design and implement digital experiences across the health system, ensuring that robust implementation and change management methodologies are in place to drive value, speed, and outcomes. Additionally, the Sr. Director will facilitate the Digital Transformation Committee under the leadership of the Chief Digital Officer, ensuring that the group is well organized and optimized over time in support of the overall digital transformation strategy.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred)

• At least 10 (10) years relevant experience in healthcare, management consulting, strategy, or related fields; may also be in a technology company, in a strategy/growth/product role

• Experience leading business process redesign initiatives

• Experience leading digital strategy and transformation initiatives

• Demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio of projects, including facilitating teams and driving process

• Intellectual curiosity and strong critical thinking skills with ability to synthesize disparate sources of data

• Strong persuasion and negotiations skills, and the ability to engage, challenge and influence one’s thinking to effect change throughout an organization.

• Relationship building and effective communication skills at the C-Suite level

• Commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards; personal and professional integrity above reproach

$76.35 – $113.76 per hour
