KPMG is currently seeking a Director of Practice Operations – Client & Engagement Risk (C&ER) to join our Legal, Risk Management and Compliance (LRMC) organization.
Responsibilities:
- Drive alignment with the RM-Tax and Client & Engagement Risk Organization’s strategy and goals by translating complex priorities into actionable plans; help drive collaboration, performance, and communication across the Client & Engagement Risk C&ER, RMC Leadership Team and Functional leadership teams, streamlining team processes and ways of working to drive agility and effectiveness
- Lead large-scale organizational change by integrating disparate or legacy teams into a unified function, while spearheading enterprise-wide initiatives; represent the C&ER organization in cross-functional programs and forums, ensuring strategic alignment with broader objectives and influencing executive-level outcomes
- Partner with C&ER leadership and LRMC Operations to develop and refine the workforce and resource strategy, optimizing the onshore, offshore, and digital resources to meet client and engagement risk management demands
- Proactively anticipate the needs of the C&ER organization, streamline collaboration between departments, and maintain a keen focus on achieving strategic outcomes
- Serve as an early adopter and champion for AI by integrating generative AI tools into daily workflows to boost productivity while modeling a mindset of curiosity and continuous learning
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of recent experience in supporting senior-level executives
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, business administration, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint, including the ability to develop compelling presentations
- Exposure to and experience with senior leadership, and in-depth knowledge of functional service delivery and risk management
- Exhibited strong self-sufficiency, independence, and the capacity to perform tasks autonomously with limited supervision; capability to handle sensitive information, navigate conflicting priorities, and drive organizational change
- Excellent storytelling, facilitation, communication, interpersonal, organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills required
