As an Administrative Officer 5, you will serve as the Director of the Office of Continuity and Records Information Management. This professional will develop tools and provide policy guidance and strategic direction for agencies under the governor’s jurisdiction in order to enhance their continuity preparedness. Special attention must be given to monitor developments in federal policies surrounding continuity and integrate these into Commonwealth programs as appropriate. This position affords the opportunity to provide leadership for agency executives, present strategic priorities for consideration by Continuity of Government (COG) Steering Committee, and establish work plans to accomplish agreed upon priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital in the cultivation of productive cooperation with independent executive agencies, as well as the legislature and the courts in order to guide the Commonwealth towards the goal of an overarching Enduring Constitutional Government (ECG) framework for state government.
