This role will lead the team to develop and execute the product onboarding platform roadmap to digitize and accelerate the end-to-end processes associated with product onboarding for our clients across small business, commercial, corporate, and FI clients. This includes championing platform migration from legacy applications to the target state platform, while enabling digital self-service options in collaboration with digital channel teams across Scotiabank’s priority regions.What You’ll Do:
- Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Define and drive the strategic vision for the platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability across markets.
- Work collaboratively with client servicing and operations teams to jointly establish roadmap priorities and approaches, ensuring the platform enhances client experience, operational efficiency, and user experience.
- Maintain high engagement with sales teams to gather continuous feedback, integrating their insights and experiences into the platform development process to align with market demands and client expectations.
- Oversee all stages of the platform’s lifecycle, from product vision & design through development and implementation, user training, and ongoing enhancements.
- Leverage new technology and innovative practices to enhance platform functionality while driving client facing self service capabilities that integrate into Global Transaction Banking’s digital channel offerings.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics to assess platform effectiveness, user satisfaction, and alignment with business goals.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders including executive leadership to drive alignment on objectives and priorities and establish supporting business cases.
- Monitor and evaluate transaction banking and digital transformation trends and incorporate into roadmap objectives and strategies
What You’ll Bring:
- 8+ years of relevant Strategy, Product, or client operations experience within commercial/transaction banking
- Deep understanding of cash management and transaction banking services
- Critical thinker with strong influencing and collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams to deliver platform outcomes
- Previous experience in leading complex, large-scale initiatives across cross-functional teams in Lean/Agile operating environments
- Proactive and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to various internal/external audiences along with ability to facilitate large group discussions to drive alignment
- Proven track record of defining and executing strategic outcomes, supporting executive level decision making
- Spanish speaking is an asset
