Dispatch Coordinator

Your role: 

Working as part of an exciting, friendly and busy team, the Despatch Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative support for all Despatch Warehouse functions. Training will be provided on the systems and processes. 

This role is an on site role based at our Penrith site. We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, 7.5% pension, salary sacrifice schemes and much more.

This role is a 3 Shift Working Shift Pattern.

What your impact will be:

• Prepare daily bar code sheets for the tally line.
• Prepare daily pick sheets for both the tally line and the picker.
• Book and control both entry and exit of delivery vehicles via the barrier at the factory back gate.
• Prepare the delivery notes daily.
• Control via the tally sheets the booking of production to stock.
• Communicate with external haulage contractors.
• Support the Purchasing function with administrative duties
• Support the Planning function with administrative duties

What you’ll need to succeed:

• An understanding of a “Safety First” culture with a continuous improvement mentality.
• Good computer skills and experience of basic business software (Microsoft etc)
• Previous supply chain experience is desirable
• Previous manufacturing process knowledge is desirable
• Flexible with a positive and proactive attitude with a desire to succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can confidently work effectively individually & as part of a team.
