Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Essential Functions of Employment with DLO:

• Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day
• Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform
• Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis

Main Duties: Perform duties as assigned by supervisor; to include inventory control, stocking supplies, performing activities under the supervision of the technical staff to facilitate workflow. Will learn to process specimens to be tested on analyzers and perform basic instrument maintenance to support the department, able to perform bench startup and assist accordingly during production.

Required Knowledge: Basic understanding of computers with medical background preferred, which includes medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.

Required Experience: Preferred: 12 college credits towards a science related degree. Minimum; High School or equivalent. Previous laboratory/medical experience preferred

Special Requirements: Should be able to work extra days/shifts as dictated by business need.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Position requires data background with abilities to enter 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour
• Works in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habits
• Able to sit or stand for long periods
• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment
