Role Description

The Team Assistant & Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the DLT team while driving the brand’s social media presence. This dual role requires a highly organised, versatile, and creative professional with a passion for events, digital marketing, and building strong community engagement.

Essential

• Previous experience in an administrative or team support role.
• Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organisation.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content tailored to different platforms.
• Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
• High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable

• Experience in the events or entertainment industry.
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Familiarity with community-driven brands and/or a personal passion for music, culture, and events.

What the role includes

Team Assistant

• Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
• Coordinate team activities, track project timelines, and maintain project documentation.
• Assist with event logistics, such as vendor communications, travel arrangements, and on-site support.
• Manage team expenses and assist with budget tracking.
• Act as the primary point of contact for general inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Social Media Management

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance DLT’s online presence and drive engagement.
• Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content across platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and Youtube.
• Collaborate with the graphic designer and wider team to produce on-brand visuals, videos, and written content.
• Monitor social media trends, analytics, and audience insights to refine strategies and achieve KPIs.
• Engage with the DLT community by responding to comments, messages, and tags in a timely manner.
• Work closely with team to develop social media campaigns that align with upcoming events and promotions.
• Stay updated on platform updates and algorithm changes to ensure optimal performance.
