You will have opportunities to contribute to UNICEF China’s work on basic education and adolescent programmes which will include but not limited to the Digital Education and STEM Education projects, as well as gender-related project activities. Main tasks include support projects related coordination and logistics arrangement, data collection and analysis, document editing and compiling, literature review, policy and standards mapping, translation, project task force coordination, campaign tasks, and fulfill other ad-hoc tasks related to education projects.

To qualify as an UNICEF intern, or a champion for every child, you will…

  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme or freshly completed a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and will join a postgraduate programme, majoring in education technology, education management, political sciences, or other relevant subjects.
  • Demonstrate experience and ability in getting involved in innovative education, policy research and analysis, as well as project coordination;
  • Have strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records, or, if not available, a reference letter from an academic supervisor;
  • Be fluent in English and Chinese (oral and written);
  • Have a good sense of teamwork, adaptability and commitment to assigned tasks;
  • Have no immediate relatives working in any UNICEF offices.
