Description of Duties:

-Assist in the assessmen/evaluation of existing orientation and mandatory/regulatory in-service educational offerings. -Develop, propose, and implement changes in existing educational offerings to make age-friendly modifications. -Develop, propose and implement efficient, effective teaching/learning methods. -Develop, propose, and implemenl educational offerings new programs to meet Rutland Nursing Home needs and to enhance future quality and cost outcomes. -Participate in the development and implementation of educational program evaluation.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED: -Current NY State RN Licensure. Baccalaureate degree in nursing. One year of experience working with older adults. Experience designing,implementing, and evaluating an educational intervention. Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Interest in improving health and well-being of older adults. PREFERRED: -Master’s degree in nursing with course work in education. Long-term care/nursing home experience. Knowledge of age-friendly concept.
