Talgo Inc. refurbishes passenger railcars for LA MetroLink at our Milwaukee facility, focusing on high quality mechanical and structural work to extend the service life of the railcars for another 30 years.

What You’ll Do:

• Support electrical work orders on railcars, including medium-complexity tasks
• Install and interface lighting, HVAC wiring, communication systems, and other components
• Conduct continuity tests and troubleshoot faults with supervision
• Crimp connectors and assemble wiring harnesses
• Couple and uncouple cars electrically and mechanically

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical certification is a plus)
• 3-4 years of experience as an electrician or electrical assembler in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and running wire harnesses
• Skilled in crimping and connector assembly
• Experience using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and electrical troubleshooting tools
• Familiarity with electrical preventative maintenance and LOTO (SAP experience is a plus)

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Frequently required to stand, walk and perform manual tasks
• Occasionally required to kneel, stoop, or climb
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
