Electrical Engineer in Tysons, Virginia

Electrical EngineerJob Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design for large commercial buildings. Responsibilities include preparing reports, cost estimating, specification development, performing calculations and selecting equipment for specification, and preparing construction documents for bidding. You will also design in both AutoCAD and Revit, perform site visits, manage project deadlines, and interact with clients and architects.

Top Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• 2-6+ years of electrical engineering design experience

• Ability to create MEP Electrical designs for building projects (lighting, power, short circuits, generator, single-line design, NEC codes, etc.)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software

• EIT Certification or PE License is preferred

Work Site/Environment:

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Tysons, VA and some days remote. This role operates in a hybrid model with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. There is flexibility to work 2 days from home. The position is mostly design-heavy, but requires site visits approximately 10% of the time, with travel to sites all over the US.
