An established and reputable electrical contracting firm based in York is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to join a growing company with a solid reputation for quality and reliability.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of electricians and subcontractors on-site and in-office
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance across all projects
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Support estimating and quoting processes for new and ongoing contracts
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks
• Provide mentorship, training, and performance reviews for staff
• Monitor inventory, materials, and procurement requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the electrical contracting industry
• Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2)
• ECS Gold Card or equivalent
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience with NICEIC processes and periodic inspection reporting
• SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification
• Familiarity with smart home and energy-efficient system
