Electrician – Industrial

Job Responsibilities

• Performs all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities.
• Installs, repairs and maintains electrical motors, complex electronic devices, control panels, relays, conduit, and switches ensuring proper electrical operation of generators and transformers.
• Interprets electrical construction blueprints.
• Uses meter and motor testing equipment.
• Ability to understand control schematics.
• Ability to read and understand installation instructions and wiring diagrams for basic equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must hold a valid electrical license from any state.
• Willing to travel the Southern New England region.

experience working with:

• Voltage levels up to 4,160.
• VFD / DC drives.
• PLC’s.
• Troubleshooting non-working circuits.
• AC/DC Motor Maintenance.
• Motor Control Centers.
• Conveyor systems.
• Bridge control systems.
• State of Maine Electrician’s License – Journey level is required, but a Master level is preferred.
• Completed electrical apprenticeship program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or commercial setting.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, qualifications, and performance. The compensation range for this position is $38.00 – $45.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
