JOB TITLE: Electronics Assembly Technician

LOCATION: Manassas, VA

PAY RATE: Up to $18/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform a variety of manufacturing and final assembly tasks, including:
  • Building and populating electronic subassemblies
  • Routing cables and conducting continuity/resistance checks
  • Performing pressure, Hi-Pot, and impedance tests
  • Preparing units for customer delivery
  • Supporting customer and quality inspections
• Work from various instructional materials such as:
  • Engineering drawings
  • Electronic work instructions
  • Written and verbal directions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have relevant work experience
• Torque wrenches, hand tools, hand trucks
• Specialized test equipment (e.g., pressure test stations, Hi-Pot testers)
• Use of compounds/chemicals such as epoxies, isopropyl alcohol, acetone, and corrosive agents
• Maintain accurate records (time tracking, safety training)
• Comply with ESD and PPE requirements (e.g., safety glasses, ESD gear)
• Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials

Computer Skills:

• Accessing work instructions
  • Logging discrepancies and issues
  • Recording time and scheduling tasks
  • Communicating via email with team and management
• May require work outside standard hours, including weekend overtime (Friday–Saturday)
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
