You will be joining the Operational Excellence division (OPEX) which mission is to drive changes and develop corporate capabilities enabling the Euroclear Group and its people to become an even more effective, innovative and performing organization.

The division includes the corporate Centers of Excellence on Program Management, Change Management, Process, Facilitation and Continuous Improvement. The division also provides specific Consultancy services.

Euroclear is generally seen and recognized as a leading organization for continuous improvement and operational excellence in the service industry and offers you the possibility to build up your experience as Engagement Manager. In the role you will act as a real internal management consultant who combines output orientation, personal drive and a hands-on attitude with strong stakeholders’ management, facilitation experience and the soft skills to influence and coach people. You will engage in different missions, on various topics, at different level of complexity across the Euroclear group.

In this role you will be expected to: 

  • Manage the engagements autonomously: from scoping to implementation, using different methodologies and as per internal consultancy standards.
  • Lead, coach and manage those within the team working on the mission to deliver tangible, measurable results to ensure the client receives the value of the investment, in line with the expected service level.
  • Develop and demonstrate ownership for implementing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture in line with consultancy service strategy and objectives to achieve operational excellence.
  • Building relationship with key stakeholders to promote the excellence of the OPEX services to encourage the client loyalty.
  • Provide tactical advice to clients about how to improve the business – benchmarking, communicating with clients regularly to gather data inputs, provide updates or answer questions, share findings and recommendation.
  • Taken data driven approach, size opportunities and benefits, conduct research, form hypotheses and think outside of box to propose solutions on specific topics.
  • Design, plan, track and report the results vs. the benefits commitments within every engagement.
  • Support development of OPEX CoE knowledge and updates, implement good practices based on internal standards as well as new market trends and techniques. Promote knowledge and practice sharing.
  • Prepare and deliver trainings and events to educate clients or team members with an objective to increase organizational maturity, engagement or performance.

Required qualifications/skills:

  • Research & Analytical skills: you are a critical thinker able to research and understand complex information, draw conclusions and shape possible solutions.
  • Methodology skills: You have been exposed or have limited experience in Lean Management Systems, Agile or Continuous Improvement practices, Facilitation techniques.
  • Communication skills: You are comfortable to communicate at all levels of the organization and have the courage to speak up when required. You can fluently communicate complex ideas / solutions in a simple and compelling way, both verbally and in writing (English). In your communication transparency is critical.
  • Organization skills: Organization is a crucial skill for this role because it allows you to complete your work on time and thoroughly. Having good organizational skills will help you keep track of your work and ensure you don’t miss any deadlines.
  • Problem-solving: Problem-solving skills allow you to identify issues and develop solutions to overcome them. As Engagement Manager, you will engage in missions leading and facilitating transversal problem-solving sessions, ensuring end to end ownership over a process. You will work towards ensuring common understanding of a problem, demonstrating good knowledge of problem-solving methodology and techniques.
  • Process modelling skills: you can facilitate and collaborate with diverse groups of individuals to build and visualize a process.
  • Project management skills: you are autonomous, self-starter able to develop coherent action plans, anticipate problems to impact, manage resources, milestones, transparency in reporting etc.
  • Facilitation skills: experience in acting as a facilitator (also in digital or hybrid set-up), ability to guide senior audiences to valuable workshop outcomes. Plan, prepare and run focus groups and facilitate workshops.
  • Digital savviness: you are cultivating digital and continuous learning culture, understand, operate well O365 suite, test and practice it to enrich service value creation.
  • Coaching skills: you are passionate about developing yourself and others. You are experienced in coaching people to become better performers. You continuously ask and provide feedback.
  • Working together, connecting and integrating under One Euroclear culture.
  • Minimum of 7 + years of relevant experience in the field of consultancy and project management.

The successful candidate will have a great deal of autonomy and will interact daily with several levels of management across Euroclear. He/she will be exposed to a wide variety of topics, problems and domains and will build over time a unique view on Euroclear Divisions (ranging from IT, HR, Finance to banking operations), its product offering and its strategic intentions. 

This role is part of the Advisory career orientation. 

Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time.
