Engineer II – The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton

The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton is looking for their next Engineer II to join their team. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Engineer II in a hotel or similar setting, has general maintenance knowledge in areas such as electricity, plumbing, HVAC/commercial cooling systems, painting/drywall, appliance repair (commercial kitchen and laundry equipment), fire detection/life safety systems and swimming pools, and has a great approach to teamwork

Pay rate: $24 per hour

Shift Pattern: Full availability Monday – Sunday for 8-hour shift between 4pm-Midnight (holidays and weekends are required)

What will I be doing?

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
