Key Responsibilities

• Performs basic and routine support activities within the areas of Nuclear and Industrial Engineering, Manufacturability, and Continuous Improvement.

• Assists with time study assignments, BOM creation and projects that the team is currently working on.

• Familiarizes oneself with the functions of the department.

• May present to Senior Leadership Team at the end of the internship.

• Contributes valuable work through delivering against performance goals and assigned projects.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

education and experience

• Typically working towards a bachelor’s degree in electrical, Nuclear, Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.

Knowledge and Skills

• Possesses an understanding of basic Engineering principles, as well as some knowledge of the function related to the position.

• Possesses an understanding of basic GD&T principles.

• Possesses an understanding of basic Auto CAD, as well as some knowledge of the function related to the position.

• Takes initiative and is intellectually curious.

• Demonstrates effective written and oral communication.

• Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.
