position Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Engineering Designer to support our product development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing transformer components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. This role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality control.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create detailed engineering designs and specifications for transformer components and systems using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to refine design concepts and ensure feasibility.
  • Conduct simulations and analysis to validate design performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Support the prototyping and testing phases of product development, making adjustments based on test results.
  • Assist in troubleshooting design issues and implementing design improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance design processes.
  • Participate in project planning and provide input on timelines and resource requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in engineering design, preferably in the electrical or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering design tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
