Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Payrate: £155 – £220 per day
Start Date: September 2025Are you passionate about the power of language and literature? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to inspire and educate secondary students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in a well-established school in Rotherham.Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages academic progress and creativity.
• Monitor student progress and provide tailored feedback to promote achievement.
• Support students’ literacy development, critical thinking, and exam preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to wider school life.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in English.
• A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience in secondary schools preferred.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
