You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of mathematical principles and their application. Your role will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful English lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5).
- Encouraging students to apply mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills in various contexts.
- Supporting students in their academic development, providing guidance and support when needed.
- Contributing to the development of the English curriculum.
- Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in English.
- Ensuring the effective delivery of the English syllabus.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the English department.
Key Qualities We Are Looking For:
- A strong passion for English and a desire to support students’ mathematical journeys.
- A recognised teaching qualification in English, or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching English to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
- A passion for developing young people academically.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive and dynamic team.
