Are you passionate about supporting learners to reach their full potential? ALFA, our new learning programme is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our growing team.The successful candidate will:

• Teach 1:1 virtual lessons for learners attending the ALFA programme.
• Plan creative and engaging activities to support learners that have significant gaps in their education.
• Support learners to access a range of accredited qualifications such as Functional Skills, Entry Levels and AQA Unit Awards.
• Foster positive relationships with our learners.
• Contribute to the overall progress of the child to re-engage in education and transition to a positive destination.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
• At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment
• QTS/QTLS is advantageous

At ALFA:We provide every child with the chance to excel in their education, regardless of any challenges they may have faced in the past. Our programme is specifically designed to help children who have been unable to access traditional schooling due to social, emotional, or mental health issues, anxiety, or other barriers they have encountered.We work compassionately with each learner and their family to design a customised learning path that is completely focused on their individual requirements. ALFA offers bespoke timetables through local tutors, online lessons with our subject specialists and incorporating outdoor activities at PEAK activity centres. We are dedicated to helping our learners re-engage with education in a way that best suits them.ALFA is expanding and there will be further teaching opportunities.
