You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking English lessons, fostering students’ love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging English lessons for A-Level students in line with exam board specifications and the college’s academic standards.
• Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore literature, language, and creative writing with curiosity and enthusiasm.
• Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the college’s vision and the latest advancements in English education.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting a growth mindset and a belief in their communication abilities.
• Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified English Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and fostering their understanding and appreciation of English language and literature.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English, with a strong understanding of grammar, literature, and different writing styles.
• Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
