This role will require previous Trapeze Enterprise Asset Management experience.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in business administration, computer science, information systems, Industrial/ Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, information management, or a similar role.
  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems (e.g. IBM Maximo, Trapeze/ SAP/ Infor, or related EAM platform) and transportation or related industry are a plus.

Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL), diagramming tools (e.g. Microsoft Visio)
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and its suite of applications (e.g. Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of asset management principles and practices – (ISO 55000/ PAS 55) a plus

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex business problems.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized digital file structures to ensure easy retrieval, version control, and consistency across projects.
  • Ability to create clear and concise reports and documentation.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve system issues and optimize processes.
  • Ability to pay attention to details, use sound judgement and prioritize work independently.

Project Management:

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.

Key Accountabilities (Essential Job Duties):

Asset Information Quality Management:

  • Validate asset information via both desktop exercises and field visits throughout the network.
  • Monitor and maintain information quality within the Enterprise Asset Management system.
  • Identify and resolve information discrepancies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
  • Develop and implement information quality improvement plans and initiatives.
  • Review and validate new asset data from major Capital Programs (SW/FA) and act as handover liaison between Asset Management, Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze asset management data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports and dashboards/ visualizations to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Review and update engineering documents in line with asset management principles.

System Support and Maintenance:

  • Ensure the Enterprise Asset Management system is properly configured and maintained.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to address system issues and enhancements.
  • Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective use of the system.
  • Assist in developing and documentation of business workflow processes.
  • Support execution and rollout of new system workflows.
  • Assist in QA, testing, and documentation of new EAM releases & products.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for streamlining asset management processes and improving efficiency.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement initiative that support the Asset Management Program.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with asset management, IT, and other departments to understand business needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business users.

Working Conditions (including Physical Demands)

  • Environment: Office and Remote. Sometimes onsite at maintenance facilities.
  • Travel Requirements: This position may require occasional travel.
  • On occasion be flexible to work all shifts and/or locations as assigned or directed.
