What You’ll Get to Do

The Fabrication Operator is focused on assembling the parts for doors, frames, and windows and reports to the Plant Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who approaches their work professionally, loves to be a part of a team, and wants to help us get better every day. A vital member of the Custom Door Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• On/off-loading of the product from tables and rolling racks.
• Using pneumatic screw guns and drills to assemble the parts for doors, frames, and windows.
• The “team concept” instituted for plant facility production workers requires each worker to perform different functions on a a rotating basis.

What We Are Looking For

• Construction type experience.
• Ability to ready, understand, and communicate paperwork.
• Attach appropriate paperwork and/or tags to products and packages.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting and carrying (up to 50 lbs.), and standing.
