This position offers the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of construction management, with a special focus on concrete, waterproofing, caulking, and related scopes of work.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Learn to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings for bidding purposes.
Support senior project managers in coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Attend site visits and pre-construction meetings to gather project details.
Assist in tracking project timelines, budgets, and change orders.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
Use industry-specific software like Procore and Bluebeam to manage projects and communicate effectively with the team.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Participate in the preparation of project schedules, bids, and reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
1-2 years of experience in construction, preferably in concrete, waterproofing, or related fields.
Strong interest in learning estimating and project management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic understanding of project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
