What you’ll be doing:
As Sales Manager in Basingstoke near Reading, you’ll take responsibility for the full reservations and event sales function at this busy 4* hotel. You’ll drive bedroom, meeting, and event revenue through both proactive selling and excellent client relationship management.
Working alongside the Central Events team, you’ll manage two Sales Executives and ensure each enquiry – from weddings to corporate functions – is handled professionally, efficiently and with a personal touch.
The hotel is within easy commuting distance of Reading, Newbury, Winchester, and Farnborough.Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all group & event sales and bedroom bookings
• Maximising revenue opportunities from new and repeat business
• Coaching and developing the Sales Executive team
• Monitoring performance against KPIs and targets
• Building strong internal and external client relationships

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in event sales, reservations or a sales executive role
• Hospitality background preferred but not essential
• Proven people management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Commercially aware and target driven
