Job Location: This position will be domiciled in the western region of the state. Remote work for this position is an available option with the expectation of some in office presence.

This Specialist will conduct statewide fidelity reviews and provide technical assistance to behavioral health programs in identified evidence-based practices including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders (ITCD) and Individualized Placement and Support (IPS). This position will work closely with colleagues across all DBH programs including providing trainings and understanding other monitoring functions.

  • Plan, schedule, organize and conduct fidelity reviews and evidence-based practice trainings, both in person and virtually
  • Compile and prepare comprehensive reports of findings from fidelity reviews in conciliation with team members
  • Coordinate with colleagues regarding fidelity protocols including participation in peer review processes
  • Collect and input data as it relates to tracking and monitoring provider performance
  • Coordinate and assist provider with action plans for fidelity improvement including provision of technical assistance related to the evidence-based practice models
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with providers, colleagues and leadership by participating in supervision meetings, specialist networking calls and committee work
  • Conduct trainings both virtually and in person to support evidence-based teams and their practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of state/federal regulations and evidence-based practices and able to apply these rules and regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Organization/time management skills/attention to detail
  • Good writing and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work or psychology related field
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field
  • 4 years progression professional experience is required
  • Understanding Department of Mental Health programming including a working knowledge of the code of state regulations and Medicaid manuals
